I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season and that your New Year has been fabulous so far! I am working on some new things for Scrappendipity, not just scrapbooking and card making. I got into some altered jewelry making over the holidays and I am building on that. Here is an example:
This is a scrabble tile that I was able to make into a cool butterfly pendant to wear. It is amazing what you can alter for another use. Here is another example:
This one was more tricky because I added a rhinestone. The possibilities are endless with altered "art". I plan to stretch my "altered wings" soon! :)
I made my family the same idea for Christmas gifts this year although instead of scrabble tiles I used dominoes and I used family photos to make cute little pendants. It seemed to be a hit and I hope to make more of them. Here is an example of those:
These were alittle more difficult to make and I went through quite a many dominoes before I got it right. It was worth the work though. So these are a few different things to be on the look out for as well as several others that I am working on.
